Jay Disney Lo

Good Morning :)

About to start work in 15 min at Hollywood :)

Starting to get a little confused about things happening around here, I guess some of this is a little too magical.  But having said that i’m getting used to this American culture.  Can’t complain after having Red Lobster, Taco Bell, Fuddruckers, Cheesecake Factory and drinking out of red cups.  Wish I could stay here more than just half a year.

It’s going to be the 40th anniversary of Magic Kingdom tomorrow, this should be good since there’s going to be special fireworks and a presentation.

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesecake

Decided to start using this again XDD

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesecake factory is gooooooooooooood :)

Disney Update!!

Hey guys!

Since the last time i blogged to you i just got back from Magic Kingdom! For the past two days.  Yesterday I went to Epcot which reminded me of home somehow after going into the British Pavilion.  You don’t realise until you leave home that the stuff they sell there is actually very English. The French, German, Chinese, Japan, Italian pavilions were also very impressive, this fully reminds me of a mini world expo!!  The Japan pavilion had a lot of things that made me homesick, stuff like Pocky, instant noodles, even Totoro and Gundam..

The rides there were quite good, went on the test track which was completely sponsored by GMC and Chevrolet.  They had no hesitation in blatant advertising by placing a show room right outside of the ride.  On a + note I sat in a Chevrolet Camero which was NOT YELLOW WITH BLACK STRIPES.

Today I headed out to Hollywood studios, managed to have a few more thrills with the rides, started off having a Iced Lemonade.  Can’t really say it’s the best thing i’ve tasted, it’s just downright sour and icey XDD.  We went on the Aerosmith Roller coaster which was much better than space mountain and then we went on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.  Not as bad as I thought it would be but still quite an interesting experience, just had casual drops of about 15 storeys :)

That is all for now!

Disney Update

Hey guys!

This is my first post from the U S of A!!!!  The weather here is rather warm, 33 degrees and for 3 days in a row we are expecting thunderstorms XDD.  While I was waiting for the bus home, I saw lightning, and no it’s not half assed Auckland lightning storm with 1 lightning strike, there was 3 in the air at once!!!

This week I went to the Premium outlets, there were heaps of stores which were cheap, although they weren’t really as cheap as I thought it would be.  BUT i did come across the most kickass Fudge shop.  They actually sang while they were making the fudge and got everyone to sing and clap as well :)  We also got free samples XDD

I also went to Florida Mall a few days ago, this was fully of awesome shops like A&F, Macy’s, JC Penney and Apple.  I also came across a kickass place called M&M’s World

I went to Magic Kingdom last night and watched the parades and fireworks, my childhood memories suddenly all returned.  All that lubby dubby Disney Magic that I watched when I was 6 suddenly all returned.

I managed to get on the Space Mountain (Of Which I screamed my lungs out), Haunted Mansion, It’s a Small World and The Goldrush Ride!!

Tomorrow I will be going to go to Epcot where the international village is :)

There are weird things which happen in the states which doesn’t really happen in NZ eg starting a fire in the frying pan XDD.  Luckily that was fixed and nobody was hurt, the food tasted even better than usual after that.

Having said that there are some really things in the USA.

1. EVERYTHING YOU EAT IS SWEET

2. Light switches Down for Off and Up for On…

3. TAX is EXCLUDED

4. 2 Litre Drinks are $1.25

5. Cooking is more expensive than Dining Out

6. Customer Service outside of DIsney is a joke (My T-Mobile Sim took 1 hour to setup  (-_-))

7. There are Chevrolet Camero’s which DON’T LOOK LIKE BUMBLEBEE unlike at home/

8. There are hot chicks everywhere.

9. Everyone speaks Spanish.

10. Walmart.

That is all for now :)

Have a Magical Day :)

random Update

Ok i CBF writing on a weekly basis so I am now just going to blog whenever I feel like it now :P

I have just returned from Sydney at the beginning of this week and have spent Valentines Day in Auckland and also gone to the Lantern Festival.  I guess both events make me feel like i’ve grown up a lot.  Tonight made me feel like I was still in High School with my friends meeting up and buying our straw hats, instead I realize that was 4 years ago.  On a brighter note, the food was good as per usual and I did enjoy the evening watching Shanghai Kiss outside the OGGB, not something that would happen everyday.  Was also really good to catch up with my friends since this long as summer.

Being on a cruise was good, never thought I would enjoy breakfast in Sydney Harbour.  It was truly a breathtaking experience.

While in Sydney I also tasted stuff that would never be found where I lived.  Pepper Lunch can be described as teppanyaki on steroids.  Its just a sizzling plate with everything you order on it right away.  There isn’t anything fancy like what you would normally get at a proper teppanyaki restaurant.

I also came across Max Brenners whilst i was strolling down George St.  Never actually realised until I finished eating that this mixer makes chocolate sauce which gets delivered up in pipes to the kitchen.

There were other places that I also went to like Westfield Pitt St.  Who knew that a shopping mall company would be able to attract Gucci, Armani Exchange, DKNY Jeans, Zara, GAP, Miu Miu and other famous brands.

And here are the other memorable places i went to during my holiday in Syd

Queen Victoria Building

The Entrance

St Huberts Island

Passionflower Ice Cream

On a brighter note.  NBA All Stars weekend is on at the moment :) The rookie game was crazy with John Wall and  Blake Griffin, need i say more?  The Slam Dunk contest is tomorrow and then the actual All-Stars game the day after.

Xoooooooom

Hahaha Huh?
